Analytics and A/B tests

Both screens are in the menu and both are empty. They say so rather than drawing an empty chart, because a board of zeroes reads as a system reporting nothing, which is a different claim from a screen that does not exist yet.

The Analytics screen

  • Analytics is for how the pipeline has performed over time, rather than what it is doing right now. It comes with Small business and above.
  • A/B tests is for which variants were tried against each other and which one won. It comes with Enterprise.

The two are gated separately on purpose. A test needs enough clips a month for its variant groups to mean anything: at a few hundred clips a month a test reports noise as a winner, which is worse than no test at all. Whether somebody may read results is a different question from whether there are enough of them to read.

Until these arrive, the nearest thing to a performance record is Posts, which holds every post that went out and links to each live one.

Syndication

Handing a channel's finished posts on to somebody else's channels is also in the menu and also not built. It appears on Enterprise and is absent from every plan below, and the screen says plainly that the feature is not here yet.
